Go Layered or Go Home

Well, it's been more than a month since I last posted an outfit, and in that time the weather has changed by leaps and bounds. I'm happy to report that I am now dressing in my natural state—layered. I love layers. And scarves, and sweaters, and socks... and all manner of Fall-y things. So at the moment, I'm quite the happy camper. Hello, Fall! I'm ready!

I bought this odd sweater (it's made of dense roses sewn on black mesh) a while back, and have never photographed it. In fact, I had few chances to wear it before I left for the trip, and then bringing a black anything with me would've meant certain death of heat stroke. I picked up the sheer slitted dress in New York, and delightedly discovered the two pieces made a lovely outfit just this morning as I was going through boxes of clothes I haven't looked at in a while (my sister and I are in the process of moving). I'm also wearing my favorite black scarf, black boots... I've missed my dark colors!

In other news, I just found out earlier this afternoon that my sister will be joining me at Tether! She will be an intern, so I'll get to order her around and make her fetch me things and the like. ...Kidding! But it will be super fun to be working together in a studio for the first time. Twin takeover!
